Fly downhill in this free online ski simulator

Just as it is every winter season, ORF-Ski Challenge is back with the new 2009 version to deliver all the excitement of mountain ski competition.

ORF-Ski Challenge 2009 is a free online ski simulator in which you can slide down different snowy slopes in various weather conditions and with diverse levels of difficulty, something that makes the game enjoyable for players of any age. You can also customize the skiers appearance and adjust your skiing style to suit your own.

The game includes two main modes, training and online races. The first one can be played offline for as long as you want, while the latter requires an Internet connection and a free user account – which you can create within the game itself in two easy steps. Races require a qualifying session and follow a strict schedule, meaning you can't race any time you want but only when there's actually an event in the game's calendar.

The graphics in ORF-Ski Challenge 2009 are not extraordinary, but quite decent if we bear in mind that the game doesn't have very high system resources. At least they're good enough to provide a realistic speed sensation. The music though ends up being too repetitive and somehow spoils the game.

ORF-Ski Challenge 2009 is a good, fun game for the winter season with challenging online races and at an unbeatable price.
